Jesus is the Reason for the Season

Jesus is so awesome. Many times when we hear the saying "Jesus is the Reason for the Season," we think what season is that? What does that mean? Is it my season? Will I get my life back, will I get my family back, will I change my life this time around? So many questions, but not enough answers.

I'm here to tell you, your season can start anytime, and any place, because Jesus is not on a clock. He's not on our time, more like we should be on God's time. People it's time to wake, because Jesus is real and his daddy Lord God is speaking in all our lives.

1 Thessalonians Verse 1 Chapters 2-10

Jesus will always be the reason behind everything, no matter what season we are end. He will be apart of your summer heat, your cold fall, your white winter, and your spring season. That's the way how he works. Some of us are waiting for the pastor to say it's our time or waiting for your friend to say you need to get your life together, we may even wait for our parents to say "Jordan, it's time to wake up and get out my house." You can't wait on other folks to determine your spiritual path, only you can follow on that straight and narrow path.

We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. ³ We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁴ For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you, ⁵ because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake. ⁶ You became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit. ⁷ And so you became a model to all the believers in Macedonia and Achaia. ⁸ The Lord’s message rang out from you not only in Macedonia and Achaia—your faith in God has become known everywhere. Therefore we do not need to say anything about it, ⁹ for they themselves report what kind of reception you gave us. They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, ¹⁰ and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.

This bible verse simply states God choose you with faith, love, endurance, and hope. He not only choose you, but the verse says "Verse 6~ You become imitators of us and of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit." This states once God choose you in this world, you became an imitator of him and wanting to do his will for his people.

"Verse 9 ~ For they themselves report what kind of reception you gave us. They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God." This states you don't serve man, money, power, your pastor, your mothers, but God...You serve God. And the reason you serve God, because he is the living and truth.

To hear God's message in your season, which is your everyday life you are going to have to know who your father is. Know the talents and gifts he has given you to prosper in your everyday life. The devil is a liar and he will try anything he can to steer your mind wrong.

Encourage Your Self, No-one else will do it better than YOU

It's so hard walking a straight and narrow path sometimes with life little and big worries. The bible says we have to encourage ourselves and others around us. You say how can this be done, when the person that needs encouraging has done me wrong, did my kids wrong, and left so much hurt in my life.

Well, there is two things you can do in this type of situation. You can lean to the Lord and ask him to give you strength in the midst of your pain or you can do what the devil wants you to do and that is he wants you to feel defeated, helpless, and give the victory to him.

Here is my story: When I was in high school (the 9th through 12th grade) my mom and I never got along. That's very normally now a days, but our relationship had went out way past the arguments and not getting along. It became physically, mentally, and I even had to go to jail. It took me years to forgive my mom for the hurt, but once I did my life starting expanding before my eyes. I got myself involved in church, I meet my husband, had kids, and became a medical student. It was not easy, but I had to encourage my own self. My husband, kids, or love ones had nothing to do with my encouragement. Of course they gave me the will power to want to press my way in the midst of my pain, but it was the Lord who had an unchanging hand and kept me whole through it all.

God's word will provide an uplifting and spiritual capture on your soul. You have to be open to the holy spirit and honestly accept in your heart Jesus Christ.

No one else can encourage you like your self and the Lord, because they do not know the true inner you. They may know you for the person you are, they my know your heart, but they don't know you like the Lord knows you.

In the bible it says encourage yourself and others... {1 Thessalonians 5:11 says: Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.} My mom and I do not have the very best relationship right now that I would like for us to have, but I have to keep being in good spirits, praying asking the Lord to strengthen that relationship, and speak words of encouragement to myself like: Christ give me strength, Lord have mercy on me, I pray this is a great conversation between the two of us, I pray for healing, Lord please be in the midst of our conversation and let your presence be known.

Without speaking words of encouragement, I know that will leave a door for the devil to enter in and he will do anything he can (even something so small) to start trouble.

So, when you feel you discourage, ask the Lord for help. Pray from you heart and do not lean to others for understanding. It's okay to talk with them, but the only the Lord can change our situations.
